Our Remove pupils who are a part of the Business Enterprise co-curricular club have participated in the ‘10x Challenge’, also known as ‘The Tenner Challenge’, by Young Enterprise. Pupils were given £10 to create a product or service and were tasked to generate a profit. This week, Octagon was transformed into a vibrant marketplace, and the pupils showcased their products!
Three excellent teams took part and sold a variety of fantastic products at the market. These included messages in a bottle called ‘Bottled Up’, personalised key rings and coasters made using 3D printing and bespoke t-shirts with a range of appealing designs. All businesses were extremely popular; collectively, the pupils raised £240.40, and all profits from the event will go to charity. We are incredibly proud of what the pupils have achieved. They have all displayed a real entrepreneurial spirit and worked very hard.
