Heard interesting quotes about reading from celebrities such as Reece Witherspoon, Sarah Jessica Parker and Benedict Cumberbatch
Learnt that ‘The Doomsday Conspiracy’ was the first book Mr Vadaszsffy, Head of English received from his father
Found out that many films are inspired by books – such as Jurassic Park, Hunger Games and The Fault in Our Stars
Pupils were also told about our new ‘Book Vending Machine’, which will be installed over Easter. Books will be free in exchange for tokens. Pupils will gain tokens for good work and other achievements!

It is always wonderful to bring together our pupils to learn more about reading and the importance of literacy.
