This week in chapel, we are celebrating Eco Week. Our pupil speakers reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by such beautiful grounds at Mill Hill. The audience was informed that the planet has lost over 70% of its wildlife population and was given ways to help protect our environment and wildlife. For example, we could:
🦔Help hedgehogs by leaving them dry sticks to encourage habitat building
🌳Volunteer with local communities which help the environment
🌱Participate in ‘No Mo May’, which would mean not mowing your gardens for the whole of May to help the wildlife thrive
During Eco Week pupils will create bird feeders to hang up around School and participate in litter-picking sessions to help our environment and the local community.
