On Tuesday afternoon, 15 pupils across Years 3,4 and 5 took part in our first ever interschool Maths Challenge here at Belmont! We invited children from Keble and Lyonsdown to join us and had a fantastic afternoon of Maths puzzles and problem solving. It was wonderful to see the children working so collaboratively and persevering with the more challenging problems.
All the children from the three schools were incredibly enthusiastic and worked so well together in teams. Our Belmont teams were amazing representatives of the school and I hope they are as proud of themselves as we are of them! Hopefully, this will be the start of a brilliant annual event with our affiliated schools.
