On Monday Belmont hosted the annual Inter-School History Competition. This year was our biggest year yet as we welcomed teams from Arnold House, Keble and Saracens High School. With Belmont having missed out on the trophy by just one point last year, the competition was fierce.
Pupils answered questions on historical landmarks and buildings, world leaders, important events and famous people associated with Science and the Arts. Unfortunately for Belmont, Arnold House retained the trophy, and once again we finished in second place. Our Year 8 team finished a highly commendable second and our Year 7s also put in an impressive performance that bodes well for the future.
