Children from Year 2 enjoyed celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III, at Old Fold Manor, with elderly members of the local community.
It was a wonderful occasion where the children sang a selection of beautiful and well-known songs to their elderly guests. Many of the audience participated in singing along with the children and enjoying the memories of years gone by through the music.
A fun filled game of Bingo was played enthusiastically by visitors and children alike and the two lucky winners each received a Grimsdell Toffee Bear!
A special ‘thank you’ is given to the Puddenecks Charity for their support in the event, and also to our wonderful Chef, Maggie, who created the most delicious selection of desserts for our elderly guests to savour.
