On Thursday, the children enjoyed a day of outdoor learning with the aim of demonstrating how to reduce anxiety through fun filled activities in the outside world.
They focussed on pursuits to encourage relaxation and a feeling of being generally more comfortable with life. The activities included connecting with nature, being active, giving to others and taking time to observe and appreciate our wonderful natural world.
As part of the day’s theme the children enjoyed creating nature crowns, taking part in transient art and going on a wellbeing scavenger hunt.
A highlight of the day was a Well-being Walk with students from Year 1 and Year 6 joining together to get to know one another as they strolled through the grounds. A lovey way to relax!
