Priestley House: Mental Health Awareness Week

In Priestley’s House Assembly this morning, we spoke about Mental Health Awareness Week and what pupils do to support themselves and each other. Pupils made a ‘Top Tips Wellbeing Window’ to share what coping mechanisms they use to support themselves and others with feelings of anxiety. ‘Mill Hill Mental Health Puzzle Books’ were handed out too and Priestley Pupils are committing to completing a puzzle a day for the next 28 days.

Priestley House was also proud to celebrate six Lower Sixth pupils (Neha J, Helena C, Carolina S, Benji C, Grace C and Ben W) who recently completed The Mental Health First Aider course. These pupils were awarded their certificates and badges. Benji spoke in assembly about what their role is within School and House, and encouraged pupils in all years to come and speak with them if they need support.
