Our Golf Team have had a great year, with more golfers than ever playing for the school team.
The year ended in great style when the First Team played in the Independent Schools Golf Association National Plate Finals at Belton Woods Golf Club on Monday 12 June. The team of Mark N (Cedars House) (Captain), Kyle R (McClure House) and Manav S (Murray House) scored a combined total of 111 points, finishing as runners-up out of the 10 schools in the competition.
Kyle shot an impressive 43 points to win the individual competition and became yet another national winning golfer at Mill Hill School. Mr Bloxham (Cover Supervisor) also played with the team competing in the teacher’s competition, where he finished in third place. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day for all involved. I was extremely proud of the golfers’ achievements and very grateful to Mr Bloxham for all his support on the day.
We now look forward to our trip with the tennis players to Aphrodite Hills, Cyprus, during Activities Week.
