KidsMBA – Shark Tank Final

It was an honour to be one of the judges for the grand final of the Dragons’ Den style Shark Tank exercise in which 14 Year 8 teams (2 from each form) pitched their business proposal to the panel of judges. The winner will go forward to an international final, with a chance to win $1000 to launch their business proposal.

There were some high-quality presentations and some innovative ideas such as Kidz Kabz (a taxi firm specifically for children) and Nay Fever (an alternative remedy for hay fever). I really enjoyed how so many of the groups had thought about the sustainability of their product, how they would market it, the financial planning, the competition, and some groups even talked about the use of AI. It was a pleasure to watch how confidently the pupils presented and how compelling some of their business cases were. Congratulations to all the pupils for their hard work and innovation on this project and special mention goes to our top three teams:

  1. Pro-Chess – Michael, Ben and George
  2. Photo For Life – Oliver, Elodie, Danielle and Mirella
  3. Twice Wear – Valentina, Alba and Charlotte

Thank you to MsG Chrisostomou for running the KidsMBA through the year and for arranging the Shark Tank final.
