Our prizegiving ceremony was terrific! The day started in the Chapel at Mill Hill School. Professor Sue Black, OBE FBCS FRSA, was the guest speaker and awarded prizes to pupils. She gave a fantastic talk to pupils and staff, which inspired the audience.
Sue is an award-winning and globally recognized technology thought leader. Sue is also a professor of Computer Science and Technology Evangelist at Durham University, one of Forbes’s Top 50 Women in Tech, a UK government advisor, a professional speaker, a trustee at Comic Relief, and a social entrepreneur.
After the prize-giving ceremony, our Mill Hill International community returned to the school, where we enjoyed a tea party on the grounds. It was lovely to see pupils, staff, parents, and friends of the school socialising together. The day was bittersweet as we said goodbye to our Year 11 pupils. We wish them the absolute best in their lives beyond Mill Hill International.
