Activities Week

Last week our pupils had a fun-filled Activities Week! Ms Goldthorpe (Director of Sport and Activities) did a fantastic job organising a wide range of diverse activities based on our school values of Be Kind, Be Brave and Be You.

  •  Year 8 had a wonderful time learning to surf in Cornwall
  • Year 7 thoroughly enjoyed choosing their activities for the first three days – whether they were making films about vanishing pupils, making clothes out of recycled garments, taking part in musical theatre, designing sculptures, becoming a ‘MasterChef’ or testing a cricketer.
  • Years 3 to 5 had a wonderful time in various activities, and the pizza-making went down well with pupils and parents! There have also been some great trips to Legoland, Wicked and the Science Museum. Lower School finished the week with some dance lessons and a performance on the field, where we all enjoyed a barbeque and a magic show by Leon the Magician.

Thanks go to everyone who helped to make Activities Week so successful.
