Over the Summer, our Fourth Form German pupils embarked on an exciting trip to Cologne! They toured a Chocolate Museum (which involved a fair amount of eating), visited the Cologne football stadium and enjoyed an adrenaline-filled visit to the very popular Phantasialand! Many of our pupils braved the fastest multi-launch coaster in the world, Taron, although the teachers preferred to watch from a safe distance.
The pedestrian-only streets in the centre of town, along with the stunning cathedral, added to the charm of this city. While the language school and daily treasure hunt in German helped our pupils practise some of their speaking skills.
We can’t wait to visit again one day soon!
