Year 4 had a treat this week when they were visited by the School of Noise which carried out a workshop to reinforce and review their Science topic this term, ‘Sound’.
The session combined lively presentations with hands-on activities and was enjoyed by all the pupils. Their curiosity was evident as they enthusiastically participated in scientific experiments exploring the creation of sound (vibration, frequency), its transmission (medium, longitudinal/pressure waves), and its destination (hearing, absorption). The workshop provided a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to deepen their understanding of the subject. A big thank you to the School of Noise for this fantastic experience, where even Mr Howells joined in the fun!
