Year 6 pupils Design their own Cogheart Animals

Last term in English our Year 6 pupils studied the ‘Cogheart’. The book is set in a fantasy version of Victorian London, where humans exist alongside mechanical people and animals. Inspired by one of the characters, Malkin the mechanical fox, the pupils were asked to design their own mechanical animal through sketches and models – some of which even had working parts!
