Year 4 and 5 Reading Challenge

I have been delighted to see the efforts of the children in Years 4 and 5 with their enthusiasm and commitment to the Reading Challenge. This half term, congratulations go to the following for reading 10 books, creating their reviews, and being awarded their Reading Challenge badges:

Spring Term 1
Bronze Ivanka 5MJ, Hari 4NH, Leah 5MJ, Jesse 5EP, Stella 4KC, Zakaria 4KC, Theo 4BB, Sophie 4BB, Sofia 4BB, Lily 4BB, Mia 4BB, Lucas 4KC
Silver Amirah 4KC, Theo BP 4BB, Jayda 4BB
Gold Amirah 4KC
Diamond Mark 5YC
Literacy Award Marco 5EP, Amy 5EP

NB – efforts have been made to ensure that all those who have received badges this term are named above. If your child’s name has been left out, this is an oversight on my part, and I do apologise. Please do contact me and I will ensure that they are recognised next time.

With the half term break upon us, what better time to grab a book and get reading. As well as improving academic success (in all subjects), reading for just 20 minutes a day supports your child’s development and well-being in so many ways (grown-ups too!). I hope that everyone can find a good book to read as you take time to relax and recharge next week!
