The House Spelling Bee took place on Wednesday morning with 30 super spellers from Years 3 to 7 representing their houses. There certainly was a ‘buzz’ of excitement in the air as each pupil took part in three challenging rounds that tested their verbal and written vocabulary skills. Pearl (Year 3 – Saxons) said: “I loved the Spelling Bee. I have been practising spelling at home. It was so exciting!”
Miss Williams and Mrs Berry were incredibly impressed by the enthusiasm and confidence of all the children. Congratulations to the winners from each year group and well done to all the participants. You were just F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!
