Mill Hill School - Cricket

To use sport as a vehicle for supporting and sustaining the ethos of Belmont, which centres around, kindness, hard work and resilience.

We nurture elite performers who compete for club, county and national level, but just as importantly, we aim to develop a love of sport within all abilities and every child can represent the school in sport.

Our mission is to help your child play sport to the best of their ability supported by our specialist teachers and coaches. Students learn excellent technical and tactical skills as well as the key sporting skills of resilience, teamwork and leadership. We aim is to provide a wealth of sport from which boys and girls of all abilities are free to choose from.

Belmont has excellent sports facilities set in stunning, landscaped grounds for both boys and girls. We have netball courts, rugby and football pitches, Astroturf for hockey, rounders pitches, cricket squares (including artificial surfaces), tennis courts, a woodland cross-country course, and a gymnasium.

Games, PE and swimming are all timetabled in the curriculum. During the games lessons, girls play netball, hockey and cricket, whilst the boys play football, rugby and cricket. Tennis and athletics are also very popular sports for both boys and girls.

There are fixtures in a wide range of sports and opportunities for all to take part in the competitive matches. We organise sports tours both in the UK and abroad.
