Meet the team:

Natalie Joseph

Natalie joined the Development Office in July 2019. She started her career at Hope (formerly Hype!), an integrating marketing agency, working with clients on strategy and fundraising. Following that she worked at Norwood as Head of Major Giving and most recently at children’s mental health charity – Place2Be – as Head of Philanthropy. Natalie is responsible for leading the Development team and working across the Foundation to raise money for bursaries, capital projects and all other fundraising initiatives.

Outside of work Natalie can be found walking on the Heath with her husband Oliver and their new sprocker spaniel, Babka. She is a foodie and is always happy to take restaurant recommendations!

Andrew Derlien

Andy joined us earlier this year having held a number of fundraising roles in the UK and overseas, most recently as Fundraising Director for an Education NGO based in Mumbai and New Delhi. He plays a key role in fundraising activities across the Foundation, with a particular focus on expanding our provision of bursary places.

Outside of school life, Andy is a keen runner and bass guitarist. He can even sometimes be found in the Hindi-language section of your TV guide, having featured in a Bollywood period drama while in India!

Miri Duskwick

Miri joined the Development team 5 years ago to support the department in all alumni and parent fundraising activity. She previously worked in various charities including Retail Trust and St Luke’s Hospice.

Miri is a wannabe Yogi and Comedy enthusiast but when not at work is most likely to be found entertaining her two lovely daughters!

Nick Priestnall

Following an extensive career in marketing, Nick was recruited in 2006 to establish the development office and launch a new fundraising initiative at the time of the Mill Hill Schools’ Bicentenary celebrations in 2007. He has overall responsibility for all aspects of fundraising for all the Schools in the Mill Hill Foundation. Nick and his team also work closely with the Heads of the Schools, current and past parents, representatives of the parents’ bodies at the Schools, The Old Millhillians Club and The Old Belmontian Association. Nick, a wannabe golfer of questionable ability, lives in Mill Hill and is a keen cricketer holding down the wicketkeeper’s spot at the Cryptics Cricket Club.
