Yet again Science at Grimsdell has been very eventful. Class 1EK went to The Mount, Mill Hill International to learn about solids and liquids. They investigated different ways to get bugs out of frozen ice. They also got to taste ice lollies too! Year 2 went to Mill Hill School to make moving husky dogs and had races to see which husky was the fastest.
Throughout the week Mill Hill Students came and visited Grimsdell pupils. They used chemicals to make bouncing custard balls. The photos speak for themselves – the children had great fun!
It has been a pleasure to see how much Science has taken place at home. The challenges were greatly received by each year group; from bug hotels, to astro nappy challenge and the tomatoes challenge.
