Belmont welcomed over 130 pupils to pre-season training on Monday in what was a beautiful sunny day setting a precedent for the week and term ahead. Organised and run by the Belmont PE Department the children took advantage of a series of work shops in the morning focusing on the core skills of the game followed by small sided games after lunch. It was fantastic to have a healthy mix of year groups across both boys and girls and bodes extremely well for the season ahead which will see fixtures for all pupils, house events and an end of year tour for the Senior Boys and Girls XI.
I would like to thank all of the PE Department for their time and efforts and of course the children for their enthusiasm, commitment and hard work.
