GCSE Results
We warmly congratulate our Year 11 pupils on an excellent set of 2024 GCSE results, acquitting themselves particularly well within the context of a challenging educational climate; not only have they been impacted by the Pandemic itself, but they have faced unprecedented challenges relating to a Government drive to return to the 2019 benchmark for examination results. We are delighted that over half of the grades awarded were at 9-7 and more than 90% of candidates achieved at least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above. A third of all candidates achieved at least five grades at 9 or 8. Our results are above those of 2019 and are a testament to the hard work, determination and resilience of our pupils, their teachers and parents.
