A Typical Boarding Week
Co-curricular Activities
We have identified characteristics of leadership, team work, curiosity, resilience, confidence, creativity and independent thinking as the key personal traits which drive our extensive, broad and challenging co-curricular programme. This is an area of school life of which we are rightly proud, believing as we do in the importance of a holistic approach to education.
Saturday Morning Activities
Our compulsory Saturday Activities Programme provides Boarders with a range of opportunities to develop skills across all aspects of school life. Some activities are academic, especially in the run up to examinations. Others are more practical, such as cookery and gardening. We also have a wellbeing programme which includes mindfulness and yoga. Occasionally, there are educational trips to museums and galleries in central London.
Weekend Programme
Boarders have the opportunity to join a wide variety of trips in and around London. There is an expectation that Boarders will join in one onsite and one offsite per term, giving them the opportunity to enjoy the wide range of activities on offer in such a multicultural, diverse city. The trips and activities enable the integration of the boarding community.
