Our 2026 GCSE Results

We're delighted to share our 2026 GCSE results below. As with our A Levels last week, these results confirm the improved academic standards at Mill Hill School in recent years and demonstrate the great talent and commitment of our pupils.

These 'on the day' results show that a quarter of all grades were the highest level of Grade 9. Over half were 9-8 and three quarters at 9-7 (the equivalent of A*/A on the old system). Final validated results will be published following reviews of marking, and are likely to be slightly higher.
Behind these headlines sit many individual success stories, some of which are shared below. We couldn't be more proud of this Fifth Form cohort, who worked extremely hard this year and deserve all their success. They start their A Levels next month in a very strong position.

A headline summary of this year’s results:

9-835%41%56%51%
9-758%66%75%75%

Several subjects achieved stand out results. In History an astonishing 54% of grades were a 9, from a cohort more than 100 pupils taking the GCSE. English Literature achieved 40% grade 9 and 68% 9-8 - also outstanding. Religious Studies had 36% grade 9 and 73% 9-8, from a cohort of 70 pupils. Art and Drama both saw more than 35% grade 9, speaking to the strength of creative subjects at MHS.

A full breakdown of results by subject can be seen here.

Over 20 pupils in this cohort achieved seven grade 9s or more. There are too many individual successes to mention here, but a few to highlight are;

  • Ben C achieved nine grade 9s, and will go on to study Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Religious Studies at A Level.
  • Olivia D also has nine 9s, and achieved the highest mark nationally in OCR Drama GCSE. Olivia will study English Literature, History and (of course) Drama A Level.
  • Arnav P did brilliantly, with 11 grades in total - ten 9s and one 8. A fantastic achievement and a huge credit to him.
  • Humza B also secured great results, with nine 9s and one 8. He will study Spanish, Economics and Maths A Level next year.
  • Fifi S secured eight grade 9s and one 8, and will study English Literature, Psychology and RS A Levels.

Well done to all our 2026 Fifth Form cohort !
