Careers Round Up
This term has packed with many inspiring careers events and talks. Our pupils have been lucky to hear from a range of industry professionals, helping them to explore different career paths and gain valuable insights into the world of work.

Lunch Lecture with Jonathan Craymer:
Jonathan Craymer (Murray, 1963-68) delivered the first Lunchtime Lecture of the Year. As the Founder and President of Shayype Solutions Ltd, Jonathan is tackling issues of cyber security and password alternatives.

Careers & Conversations with Brandon Johnson:
Brandon Johnson (Priestley, 2018-23) joined us for a Careers & Conversations in the Old Millhillians Club. CEO and Founder of Serac, and leading the field of "PropTech", Brandon gave insight into his journey and success as an entrepreneur. He spoke about the impact of AI and importance of coding for the future of work.

Property Pannel
Old Millhillians in the property industry joined us for a fantastic panel evening filled with conversation and networking. Pupils heard real stories, asked questions, and gained valuable insights into opportunities within the property sector. A huge thank you to our Old Millhillians for sharing their experiences and inspiring the next generation to explore their passions and future careers!

Future Talks with Martin Leuw
Martin Leuw (Ridgeway, 1970-73), founder of Growth4Good, gave a talk to Lower Sixth pupils about his squiggly career and finding a balance between success and making a positive impact in society.

Careers & Conversations with Elliott Ingram, Cyber Security
Elliott Ingram (Weymouth, 2000-03) is Chief Technology Officer at IP House. Elliott spoke to pupils about his career tackling digital piracy and cyber security issues, and the importance of leadership skills and strategic thinking in the tech industry.

Visit from Old Millhillian Caroline Hepker
were delighted to welcome Old Millhillian and award winning journalist and podcast presenter Caroline Hepker back to Mill Hill School to take part in out Lunchtime Lecture series for pupils.
Caroline anchors Bloomberg Daybreak Europe radio programme and the daily podcast reporting on business, economics, politics and financial markets. She also leads Bloomberg’s weekly UK Politics Podcast. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Caroline spent 15 successful years at the BBC as a TV presenter and business reporter. This included seven years in New York as the BBC’s US business and economic reporter, covering major events such as the 2008 financial crisis.
Caroline spoke to pupils about what inspired her to pursue journalism, the thrill of chasing a story, and the importance of staying curious about the world.
