On Sunday, some of our pupils took centre stage at the London Derby netball clash at the OVO Wembley Arena, and what a day it was for our community and our Netball Programme.

We were thrilled to bring over 110 pupils to the fixture as part of a whole‑school trip, creating an unforgettable experience for our young athletes. Our interactive Mill Hill fan zone on the concourse was buzzing throughout the afternoon, giving spectators the chance to test their skills, meet our staff, and feel the energy of our sporting community.But the highlight of the day came before the main event.

We were invited to take part in the official curtain‑raiser match, giving our pupils the rare opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in UK netball. Sixteen Netball Academy players, representing year groups across the School, stepped onto court and delivered a fantastic performance that showcased the depth of talent, teamwork, and ambition within our programme.

It was a proud moment for everyone involved and a glimpse of the exciting future ahead for Netball at Mill Hill School.
