Old Millhillian Events

The Class of 1950s Reunion

On Wednesday 6 May, we welcomed Old Millhillians who attended the School in the 1950s back to Mill Hill for the afternoon. We heard from our Senior Monitors, Benji L and Daisy N about what school life is like today. Pictured above is Fred Higgs, Senior Monitor from when the late Queen visited school in 1957.

CEO Antony Spencer gave an update from the Foundation and John Nelson (Murray, 1957-1962) shared his candid reflections on his time at Mill Hill and the school it has become. It was wonderful to be able to welcome so many Old Millhillians back to school for the afternoon.

The 1807 Society Luncheon

We are committed to offering a life-changing education to pupils with potential through our bursary programme. Legacy gifts play a vital role in supporting this mission in the long-term through our modest but growing endowment fund.

The 1807 Society was established in 2008, to recognise all those who had chosen to include the Mill Hill School Foundation in their will. Meeting twice each year, at school and in Central London, the most recent event took place on Wednesday 20th May. David Benson shared his perspective on the importance of bursary provision, and Old Millhillian, former bursary recipient and Olympic athlete Mike Corby (Winterstoke 1953-1958) shared his motivation for supporting the school in this way.
