Following a fantastic end to the Summer Term, where the Grimsdell Choir sang at The National Music for Youth Festival in Birmingham Symphony Hall, they also achieved a Platinum Award from the Sing Up! Campaign. This means that Grimsdell is now a Sing Up! Ambassador school which involves inviting the local schools community to join them in the celebration of singing and learning. Chao Cox, Head of Music at Grimsdell organized six local schools to join them and share in an afternoon of singing and performing. As Chao says, “Everyone automatically shows their confidence when they sing, and they always perform with a smile which is fantastic to see. It is lovely to share this with other schools!”
