This week we started off by making some silly soup. We added lots of rhyming words into a cauldron whilst singing our silly soup song.
We have enjoyed reading and acting out the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. We used this story to helps us order items from small to large. We also role played the story outside using masks and stick puppets.
The children have continued to love our shop role play area and this week we encouraged them to make a special sign for the shop and decorate their own shopping bags.
The children have been thinking about why we wear poppies this week. We talked about Remembrance Day and made poppies using paint, by cutting out circle and transient art.
Today was Children in Need day. The children went on a Pudsey hunt around the playground. They used bingo dabbers and circle stickers to make spots on Pudsey’s eye patch and made bears in the playdough.
