It was a treat to see the children arriving at school today adorned with their sparkly accessories and eager to take part in the Eid celebrations. Creative artwork, scientific experiments and a very informative parent led assembly were amongst the immersive activities undertaken and greatly enjoyed by the children.
At the end of the day the children each received a delicious gift generously donated by families who celebrate Eid every year as part of their Muslim faith.
The Eid celebrations were a great success and appreciated by all who attended. A special thanks to Mrs Babamiri (Sofia 2HD and Yara RHH) who freely gave her time and whose support was crucial to the making of such a wonderful event.
