This week in PE, we linked our PE lesson to the creative curriculum. The topic for this term is Space!
As the pupils in Year 1 have been using grip scooter boards and learning how to ride them in different ways, we though that it would be fun to pretend our scooters were ‘Lunar Rovers’.
After discussing how to ride a grip scooter safely. We marked a ‘moon path’ full of turns, bumps, and craters to avoid!
We decided that we would ride in group of 4s always checking if any astronaut was left behind!
Astronauts always work as a team!
