This week Year 1 learnt a new warm-up game in PE. They also, worked out, by themselves, that the game was related to their school topic ‘boots/farmers’ showing they could do fantastic learning connections!
The teacher chose 3-4 children to be farmers and the rest to be sheep; the sheep were the chasers. The sheep tried to get each other. When a child was tagged, they had to lie on their back with their legs and arms in the air. They then had to wait until a farmer came and rolled them over to save them.
