The beginning of next term will kick off with the Foundation’s first ABC Fun Run taking place on Friday 14th September at Mill Hill School.
Grimsdell’s Years 1 and 2 will be running a 1k mini course. Year 7 and 8 from Belmont are taking part on a 2.5K route and Mill Hill’s Fourth Form and Remove will be running a demanding 5k course.
That’s around 700 Foundation pupils taking part in the Fun Run, some in fancy dress, to raise money for the A Better Chance Bursary Scheme. All parents are invited to come and cheer on their children, meet other parents and have a glass of Pimms in the sun.
Parents and staff have attended the ABC Ball over the last two years raising over £50,000 at each. We hope, once again, they will support the ABC cause in the same way by sponsoring our runners.
Over the years several bursary beneficiaries have attended both Belmont and Mill Hill. This September, thanks to the generosity of parents and alumni we are in a position to welcome even more.
