Fourth Form Supermarket Challenge

Whilst standing and waiting in queues in the supermarket lately, we have found it can be a rather lonely affair. With the distance to be kept from fellow shoppers, people wearing masks and so on, we thought we might do well to deliver a smile to the faces of those in line. The Fourth Form have designed artwork to cover the standing spaces within the hazard tape.

Their designs are inspired by Sister Corita Kent, an artist who ran an Art School in the 1960s in Los Angeles alongside her duties as a nun. She screen-printed brightly-coloured artworks to make people stop and stare – we hope that the Fourth Form’s efforts have made you stop and smile!
