This recent highly successful event, which was attended by a number of local schools, could have been called ‘Indiana Jones and the Bridge of Spaghetti’. The children had to build a bridge from dry spaghetti and a limited amount of glue gun glue. It was all about teaching team work and building framework structures. Each bridge was tested to destruction. 1st was St Mary’s, 2nd came Devonshire House and 3rd was Belmont. Well done to all the children who took part and the teachers who helped to make the afternoon a great success.
