There are two main points of entry into the School – 7+ (Year 3) and 11+ (Year 7). Occasionally there are places available in other years – these are called ‘Chance Vacancies’.
In order to complete the admissions process all pupils will be interviewed and tested and a school reference will be requested from the current school.
When choosing a school we welcome all parents and prospective pupils to pay a personal visit to Belmont so that they can see the School’s facilities and meet the members of staff and current pupils. There are regular Open Mornings (see our ‘Open Mornings ‘ section for dates) and individual tours can be arranged by telephoning the Admissions Office.
We welcome 20-25 boys and girls into Year 3 to join Belmont each year. They join our current Year 2 children coming up from our Pre- prep school. Your child must have reached the age of seven before 1st September in the year of entry and will be in Year 2 when they sit their entrance tests. Our assessments take place in the November prior to entering the school the following September.
You can then register as soon as you’ve shortlisted our school or once your child is in Year 1. Please note that we do not offer bursary or scholarship awards for 7+ entry. These are awarded at 11+,13+ and 16+ entry.
Our 7+ registration list is now open for September 2018. Please register here online or for further information please contact Irenie Manfredi (Head of Admissions) firstname.lastname@example.org or on 020 8906 7290 or Hannah Phillips email@example.com or on 020 8 906 7275.
