The 4th annual Belmont Quiz night, held in March, was another huge success – tables sold out in record time, though it didn’t escape our attention that the teachers doubled their odds, by securing 2 tables this year!! (and yes, did go on to retain their title!)
With 140 competitors filling the Jubilee Hall our brains were given a solid workout! The evening was a great deal of fun with some very healthy competition taking place!
Thanks so much to Marlene and her wonderful catering team for a delicious dinner and to the groundsmen and Dr White for setting up. Thank you to all parents and teachers for their support and for making it such a fun night. We think there might have been a few sore heads in the morning! Finally, thank you so much to Jane Fitzpatrick, Rebecca Noble and Ali Stern for the amazing job they did in organising the quiz this year!
We are delighted to announce that we raised just over £1700 for our two FOB charities: Auditory Verbal UK and The Pelham Family Fund, so a big thank you once again to everyone who supported this fantastic event.
