Bursaries & Scholarships

Scholarships (11+)

At Belmont, Scholarships are awarded to candidates who show exceptional ability and promise in a chosen field.

Traditionally Belmont has offered both Sports and Music scholarships in addition to Academic Scholarships and we are excited to expand our programme to include Art, Design & Technology and Drama. Our creative Scholarships acknowledge our wide co-curricular commitment and offer outstanding opportunities to candidates at 11+.

Please ensure that you register your child in order for them to be considered for a Scholarship.

Awards are for the duration of the candidate’s time at Belmont. At 13+, Belmontians are put forward again for the 13+ range of scholarships and awards that are available for the next five years at Mill Hill School.

The deadline to apply for a Sports or Creative Scholarship is listed on the Admissions Calendar. Applications received after this time will not be accepted.

Academic Scholarships

Academic Scholarships, are awarded solely based on academic performance in the entrance examinations and any subsequent interviews. All pupils registered for Year 7 entry (internal and external candidates) will automatically be considered eligible for an Academic Scholarship. The pupils gaining the top marks (numbers vary from year to year) will be asked back to attend an additional interview.
