Head’s blog
We’ve made it! The last day of the academic year, rounded off by the final event of Activities Week – It’s a Knockout- which proved to be great fun for everyone involved, and a fitting end to an amazing week.
In true Mill Hill style, we have pushed the boundaries of what it’s possible to fit into one week, to achieve a programme that included overseas community work, cultural, historical and language opportunities, work experience, art, sport, adventure, wellbeing, cooking, creative writing, film-making and fishing… the list goes on. And all this at the end of what has been an incredibly busy, challenging and productive year.
Looking back, it’s hard to imagine that we have come so far in such a short space of time and that is down to the commitment, energy and engagement of pupils, staff, parents, governors and other supporters of Mill Hill. As we look to a bright future for 2019/2020, with a new curriculum, new timetable, new spaces and more staff to support our growing School roll, we can be reassured that we are on a path to continued success and that the best is yet to come!
