To launch our waste week we have collaborated with School Car Share, a service which helps facilitate the organisation of car sharing within a school community. Any parent of ours can tell you that around peak times the school thoroughfare can become rather crowded, which is why we are committed to helping to do all we can to reduce the congestion, alongside fulfilling our role as an eco-school.
Parents are encouraged to sign up at: belmontmillhillprepschool12.school-carshare.co.uk. Once registered*, parents will have access to other families who have signed up for the scheme and are on their school run. At this stage, parents are welcome to contact one another to organise car shares.
We anticipate the scheme will be a great success, and ask our parents, if they can, to give the car share service their full support and sign up.
As we are committed to the success of the car share scheme, any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as we would love to hear how you have found the process or any thoughts on the project in general.

School Car Share is an encrypted website, and thus has a stringent security process; therefore all details of any prospective applicants to the scheme must be verified by the school before being processed through to registration.
