Pupils Settle in and forge new friendships
The Autumn Term has got off to an excellent start at The Mount, Mill Hill International. Subjects are confirmed, timetables have been issued and lessons have begun with pupils immediately impressing teachers with their work ethic and determination.
Before beginning lessons, we ran our annual pupil induction programme. This is an invaluable time to ensure that all pupils feel settled and confident in their understanding of the school’s routines and expectations. Pupils participated in a wide range of sessions including: an introduction to learning in a foreign language; an introduction to the curriculum; a session on GRIT and goal setting; a session on building a community and a lesson on revision and study skills.
There was also time for some fun and pupils participated in Games sessions and team building activities. It is fantastic to see the strong friendships that are already developing among the pupils at The Mount, Mill Hill International.
