Fee Description

School Fees applicable from 1 September 2018 will be as follows:

Fees:

Registration Fee: £200.00
 The non-returnable charge for lodging a Registration form.

Please note the registration fee applies separately for each school.

Acceptance Deposit: £2,000
For parents whose normal residence is outside the UK, an Additional Deposit of one term’s Fees applicable  to the pupil  (in accordance with the Fees List) is charged and will be payable on return of the completed Acceptance Form.  This deposit will be repaid as a credit without interest after the final payment of the fees, or other sums due to the School on leaving.
Additional Deposit: £13,513
For parents whose normal residence is outside the UK, an Additional Deposit of one term’s Fees applicable  to the pupil  (in accordance with the Fees List) is charged and will be payable on return of the completed Acceptance Form.  This deposit will be repaid as a credit without interest after the final payment of the fees, or other sums due to the School on leaving.

Tuition fee also includes additional charges for curriculum expenses and additional contributions towards basic sports trips and visits.
 Parents will be notified of any additional charges related to Transportation, extra-curricular activities such as residential trips, exam charges, lost books, (this list is not exhaustive).The additional charges will be added to the School bill and are payable upon receipt of the bill.
A full terms fee may be applicable in accordance with The Mill Hill School Foundation Standard Terms and Conditions in the circumstances where a pupil is being withdrawn from the School prematurely and without proper notice.

Notes:
Payment Arrangements:  International parents can make payments to the school using online payment portal (www.flywire.com).
Due Date:  Each term’s invoice for fees and extras is due for payment by the first day of term.
Late Payment Charge on Overdue Accounts are applicable in accordance School’s Standard Terms and Conditions.

Additional Charges (Compulsory)* The boarding and day fee includes tuition, most activities at school, a morning snack, a three-course lunch, games, textbook loan, pupils’ personal accident insurance, healthcare, excursions within London, Wi-Fi and internet access.
** The boarding fee includes all of the above plus breakfast, a three-course supper, bed linen and laundry.
*** The Mill Hill School Foundation Standard Terms and Conditions detail fee liabilities in the circumstances of a pupil being withdrawn from the School prematurely and without proper notice.

There are some additional charges that are made by the School for a pupil as and when they are required. These additional charges are compulsory.

The additional charges will be added to the School bill and are payable at the end of the term in which the charge is incurred. These include:

  • All residential trips and excursions outside of London
  • Public examinations (e.g. IGCSE/GCSE and ABRSM music examinations)
  • Any stationery provided by the School in excess of £35 allocated per term
  • Extra-curricular activities, such as specialist sports or activity tuition or CCF (Combined Cadet Force) may incur an additional charge
  • All charges personally incurred by a pupil and charged to their School bill, such as dry cleaning, newspapers and magazines, taxi fares, lost textbooks, chemists and sundries. This list is not exhaustive.

Extras (Optional)

Extras are non-compulsory or optional charges incurred by a pupil such as those listed below. The charges shown below are for the academic year 2016-2017 and will likely rise from September 2017.

† Parents should note that a half term’s written notice is required to discontinue an Extra or half a term’s fee for the Extra will be immediately payable in lieu as a debt.

Payment of Fees and Extras

Each term’s invoice for fees, additional charges and extras is due for payment by the first day of the term.

Late payment of the term’s invoice will incur a charge of up to 1.5% per calendar month on any outstanding account balances which are past due (the due date is the first day of the term).

Payment of The Mount, Mill Hill International Schools acceptance deposit and school sees must be made through the online payment portal Flywire.
