Psychology pupils are able to draw and interpret graphs, analyse data, explore case studies in depth, present information to others and engage in thought-provoking discussions.
Pupils studying Psychology on both GCSE courses are entered for the AQA GCSE in Psychology (8182). The specification allows pupils to develop an understanding of the self and others, and how Psychology can help to explain everyday social phenomena. Pupils learn about how psychological research is conducted, including the role of scientific method and data analysis and the ethical issues surrounding this.
