Friday’s Christmas performance was very poignant for me personally because it marked the end of my time at Mill Hill International.
I came to Mill Hill International in April 2015 to assist Ms Bellotti in setting up our wonderful School which opened its doors in September 2015. It has been an amazing privilege to be part of Mill Hill International and I will miss all the pupils, staff and parents enormously.
During our Christmas performance on Friday, Ms Bellotti gave a speech about my time at MHI, presenting me with a huge card and a wonderful gift from all the teachers and pupils. My Year 11 English class from 2021-2022 gave me a beautiful card and bouquet of flowers. To my great surprise and delight we were also joined by many former MHI pupils. Some of these pupils are now studying at MHS and others had travelled from their universities or places of work to come and wish me well. Other former pupils sent video messages from around the world.
I was deeply moved and overwhelmed by the kindness shown to me and I will remember that moment for many years to come.
I would like to thank everyone who has made my time at Mill Hill International so very special. Working at Mill Hill International has certainly been the highlight of my professional career to date. I know that the School will continue to go from strength to strength and wish Ms Prakash and Mr Garsee every success in their roles as Deputy Head (Pastoral) and Deputy Head (Academic) respectively.
